Stratum 1 NTP Servers, Germany (Deutschland), Europe

TimeTools is a leading manufacturer of stratum 1 GPS and LF radio NTP network time servers and time synchronization devices. NTP servers provide networks with an accurate time reference for precisely setting the system time on servers, workstations, routers, telephone systems, CCTV cameras and other network infrastructure.

There are however a large number of internet based time servers located in Europe that can be used completely free of charge. These are available to anyone who wants to synchronize their computer to the correct time, the only requirement is an internet connection. Most operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Linux and Unix provide NTP or SNTP compliance. Generally all that is required is to specify the IP address or fully qualified domain name of the time server.

Listed here is a number of free NTP time servers available in the region of Germany (Deutschland). The list is not exhaustive and TimeTools has not tested any of these servers for accuracy or reliability, and cannot be held responsible for correct operation or availability. The list is provided purely for the fact that many people may find it useful.

For many organizations, synchronized network time is critical, in this instance, please consider one of TimeTools network time appliances.

The NTP Pool Project – Germany

The pool.ntp.org project is a very large virtual cluster of NTP network time servers which provide a reliable and easy to use NTP service.

NTP pool servers are used by millions of clients around the world. Indeed, it is the preferred time reference for many Linux distributions and network appliance manufacturers. The pool project is maintained by Ask Bjørn Hansen and a group of contributors.
Germany — de.pool.ntp.org

To use NTP pool in the Netherlands region, add the following to your ntp.conf file:

server 0.de.pool.ntp.org
server 1.de.pool.ntp.org
server 2.de.pool.ntp.org
server 3.de.pool.ntp.org
